Screen Printing

Screen printing or silk screening is a print method that reproduces designs on fabric using a screen and ink. Here at T-Shirts Only we print with the latest automatic printing presses giving us the capability to print upto 13 individual colours and handle any job no matter how big or small. Whether its 20 t-shirts or 20,000 our dedicated team of experienced screen printers work tirelessly to provide a fast and high quality service and in most cases we can have your job ready for shipping within 48-72 hours. We also offer a 12-24 hour express service for those urgent last minute jobs.
STEP 1 – ARTWORK PREP
Our team of designers covert your designs to create print files. The graphic is separated by color, with each color printed on its own clear film. Fewer colors
mean a simpler set up, resulting in lower costs.
STEP 2 – MAKE THE SCREEN
Following a process that requires the use of a darkroom and photographic chemicals, a stencil known as a screen, is made for each color in the
graphic image.
STEP 3 – MIX THE INK
We use the Pantone Matching System to ensure accurate print color reproduction. So when you come back for that repeat job you can be sure they will be printed in exactly the same colour everytime.
STEP 4 – PRINTING & DRYING
Each screen is aligned to ensure accurate print registration. Ink is applied to each screen, then squeezed and through the open mesh areas onto the
shirt. It is then cured to create a long lasting print.
Direct to Garment Printing

Direct-to-Garment or DTG for short refers to a method of decoration that prints directly onto the garment using a specialised DTG printer and water based inks. Here at TShirts Only we operate two industrial DTG machines with a print team boasting over 20 years experience in the field and the capacity to print over 500 prints per day. We use the most up-to-date technology to enable us to create soft feel garment prints that do not crack, peel or distort. This print method can last up to 4-5 years providing garments are cold washed and line dried.
Step 1 – Artwork Prep
Digital printing requires less artwork prep than screen printing. However we want you to have the best print possible so our designers wil check your art to make sure you get a perfect print everyone.
STEP 2 – PRE-TREATMENT
Garments are pre treated and pressed to ensure the inks to the fabric and create a fresh and vibrant print.
STEP 3 – PRINTING
Once the tshirt is loaded onto the platen we hit print and your design is transferred to the t-shirt in much the same way as an inkjet printer. Our technicians continually check to ensure perfect prints.
STEP 4 – DRYING & CURING
To ensure a long lasting print in every garment is dried and pressed using our industrial heat presses. Not only does this prevent fading or distress it also provides you with a box fresh garment everytime.
Embroidery

Embroidery is the process of reproducing your logo or artwork in thread, and is considered to add a higher value to a garment. At TShirtsOnly we boast a superfast embroidery service utilising a 48 head embroidery machine and using the highest quality colour fast polyester threads.
Heat Transfer
Low MOQ / Individual Customisation / Durable
Heat transfer is the process of reproducing an image on vinyl and adhering it to the fabric using high temperature and pressure. Perfect for custom names and numbers, we either cut the design directly from the vinyl or use as printable vinyl for more complex designs. Heat transfer printing sometimes gets a bad rep due to the use of ‘iron-on’ transfers by some companies. We use industrial tested vinyl to provide a high quality and long lasting print.
Supacolour
Full Colour / Ultra Fine Detail / Durable / High Stretchability
Supacolour is a brand new print technology that allows the reproduction of complex and fine detail logos on a super fine and flexible vinyl like material, which is then heat applied to the garment. TShirtsOnly is one of a small handful of companies with access to this technology and is at the forefront of its use in Australia. It can reproduce logos perfectly without a need to compromise.

Dye sublimation is the process of reproducing your artwork by dyeing polyester fabric. This allows for vibrant reproduction and the ability to print ‘edge to edge’ utilising the whole garment as a print area.
